A toy car made of baked clay was discovered during surface searches at mound sites in the Kızıltepe District of Mardin (northern Kurdistan). It is the world’s oldest surviving toy, dating back to the Stone Age period around 5500 – 3000 BCE. Currently, this oldest toy car in the world is exhibited at the Mardin Museum in Turkey.
